HOW TO HELP

We have been asked how members and friends can help Israel in these dark times. We recommend the following organizations as good providers to help  Israel:

  1. The Jewish Community Foundation of Greater Phoenix is a local charitable organization which is part of the Jewish Federations of North America.  All donations go directly to the national organization to help Israel.   2. Magen David Adom is like the Red Cross in Israel. Their 33,000 paramedics, EMTs, first responders, and first-aid providers have the training, equipment, and medical supplies they need to treat all injured and ill people in Israel. Here is a link to their website:  Home – AFMDA
  3. United Hatzalah – When emergencies occur, rapid medical treatment increases chances of survival exponentially. Using specially equipped motorcycle ambulances, United Hatzalah’s network of more than 6,500 volunteer medics help save thousands of lives each year across Israel by providing medical treatment, with an average response time of 3 minutes or less.   4. Hadassah – We are in a dire time of war, and your support is urgently needed to purchase medical supplies, essential equipment, and other indispensable devices for healing and saving the lives of some of Israel’s most severely injured victims.   5. Jewish Agency For Israel – The Jewish Agency’s Fund for Victims of Terror is a first responder when terror strikes, providing immediate assistance to terror victims, arriving with checks within 24-48 hours of an attack, and following up with long-term rehabilitative support.
