As the sun sets, participants are invited to join a candlelight Sunset Walk for Peace at 6:00 p.m. beginning at the Christ Lutheran Church at 25 Chapel Road off 179. Attendees will be graced with heartfelt words from leaders representing diverse spiritual traditions. The event will be led Rabbi Alicia Magal of the Jewish Community of Sedona and the Verde Valley Synagogue. Following the talks, a serene walk for peace will guide participants across the Friendship Walk to the Synagogue. Here, the day’s events will culminate in a group recitation of our peace pledge, symbolizing a shared commitment to harmony and understanding.
