In February 2024 we celebrate the 60th anniversary of the rescue of 1,564 Czech Torah Scrolls and their arrival in London. We invite you to join us in a series of celebratory events to take place around the world.
The Arizona Jewish Historial Society will host an MST Czech Scroll Gathering on February 25, 2024 at the Cutler-Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center in Phoenix.
JCSVV Memorial Scroll Torah (MST #508)
The JCSVV Memorial Scroll Toral (MST #508) has been in Sedona since 1991. In November 2015 the JCSVV formally became its legal guardian.
Participate in the Pilgrimage to Phoenix
Rabbi Alicia Magal will bring our Torah Scroll to the Cutler-Plotkin Jewish Heritage Center to participate in the MST Czech Scroll Gathering. JCSVV congregants are invited to “get on the bus” we’re renting to accompany our Rabbi and our Torah Scroll on this pilgrimage.
We will travel as a group to learn from our Rabbi, socialize, and share a meal at Chompies after the event.
