The Torah portion of this week from the Book of Numbers will be Naso, Numbers 4:21-7:89. God empowers Moses and Aaron to offer the priestly blessing: May God bless you and protect you; May God shine God’s light upon you and be gracious to you; May God turn God’s face to you and give you the gift of peace. This ancient blessing is still given to this day.
