Mitzvah Day will be observed in Sedona and the Verde Valley: the 8th annual interfaith, intergenerational day of doing good deeds in our community. Many people have already registered for their volunteer project, but last minute sign-ups are OK too. All volunteers will gather at St. John Vianney Church on Sunday, May 3, at 11:45 a.m. to get their tee shirt, snack, and Send-Off blessing. Work on projects for local Non-Profit organizations will begin by 12:45 p.m. until about 3: 30 p.m. A closing gathering with pizza and a drink will begin at 4 p.m. back at St. John Vianney Church social hall. Volunteers will have a chance to share stories about the good deeds they performed. For more information call 630 624-0143 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
